It consists of the equilibrium price and equilibrium quantity is the point which a market naturally tends towards (so, for example, if price is higher than equilibrium price, it will eventually decrease until it equals equilibrium price). The equilibrium of a given market can change with shifts in the supply or demand curves, leading to higher or lower equilibrium prices and/or quantities.
