Fixed-income investments allows investors to loan money to entities. Some notable examples are U.S. treasuries, corporate, and municipal bonds. While not volatile and low-risk, these investments certainly are not zero-risk. These investments often bring moderate returns, as the level of success depends on the type of investment.
